McGriff to be "Special Advisor"

Former Devil Ray first baseman Fred McGriff is back in the organization. On Wednesday the team announced that McGriff will serve as a special advisor.

McGriff will be part of the team's community outreach efforts and will occasionally participate in the radio and television broadcasts. He will also take part as an instructor during spring training.

Hopefully he teaches that 35 home run a year power stroke to somebody as well.

Bringin back old McGriff. I love that guy. Hopefully he does some great things for the Drays, and what a Class Act he is. Its just to bad he didnt get to 500 Homeruns.
