I think when I compare two forums specifically, the Fantasy Football Talk with the Fantasy Baseball Talk, the football forum just doesn't compete. It's not really a format issue, I think it may be a content issue. Don't get me wrong, I do think the football forum is useful, but I don't enjoy reading every post like I do/did with the baseball talk forum. This may be a wrong assumption, but it seems like more people participated in the baseball site than the football site. More opinions, more views, better discussions, better forum etc.. I know that's probably not helpful, but I just found better discussions on the baseball site. I really shouldn't be biased towards one or the other. I like football slightly better than baseball (as a sport), but I like fantasy baseball slightly more fantasy football (as a game).

i agree with this alot. i've tried using the Football cafe, but there isn't as much talk as over here.. most things there are who should i start, or should i pick up this guy..

i think having baseball all week is teh reason for this.. one day of football just doesnt' bring ppl to the cafe everyday..

Have you ever tried to talk people over there..... All ya get is, "If you awnser my post, I'll awnser yours .." LMAO ....They need a "Madison" type to keep things flowing. How can they get a "Madison"... Not the real thing though, A cheap oriental import will do.

Shitney, I think you hit the nail on the head. Fantasy football has fewer games, less daily transactions, and also fewer "usuable" free agents so it does lead to less daily discussion. The Football Talk Forum is also basically a "Trade/Who should I start and sit" forum which is generally fairly bland unless you are facing the same dilemna (which is very rare). I do like the strategy discussions and the general football talk, but these discussions seem to be few and far between.
