i know, i just think it's too short for what i prefer in a game.

Football doesn't play 16 games because it wants to, it has to. Even amazing athletes can't endure that much physical abuse. And football is a man's sport. Only men can play it. Baseball can be played by anyone, and, I believe, there is a women's baseball league. I've never heard of a women's football league, and for good reason. Most women don't have the muscle mass to handle the everyday beating.
I knew I'd catch a little for that, but it's still true. The season is way too short. Let them really play and see who comes out on top, 2 games a week, like Sunday and Wednesday. Do it for 20 weeks, then you have a 40 game season. Then there are some bragging rights win you win. Anyone can get lucky and go 8-8 and make the playoffs. As far as injuries go, with all the new rules protecting players and all the new equipment made to protect them, I don't buy the injury argument. Yes, there are still injuries, but it's not as drastic as you think. I guarantee that if you take a players check for every game he misses with injury, it would almost eliminate them. A lot of players "nurse" their injuries (Juan Gonzales anyone?) and sit back and collect their checks. My vote is for the 2 games a week, 20 week season!

I TOTALY DISAGREE.... ask Michael Jordan..... The single hardest hing to do in sports is hit a ball, Our hero's in baseball fail 7 out of every 10 times. No QB would survive with a 30% success ratio ... No Basketball Player would survive with a 30% success ratio (Allen Iverson excluded).. But at a 30 % success rate we cal them "Studs" and "Gods" in our real sport...
Hardest thing to do in all of sports... Period.

I agree and it is a proven fact that the toughest thing to do in sports is hit a baseball.

I disagree, it's far more difficult to room with Moss on a road trip than to stick with him on a deep route.
