Thanks buddy, but i respectfully decline. I just gave a quick glance today, hadn't been here before. Plus, it would be hard for me to give the pro argument for Arod, when i think Wagner was the best ss. Looks like both guys did well. I guess by looking at the debate, i'm kind of in the middle. While, both had points i agree with, they had some points i disagree with as well.

Well it looks like Arod might have some life after all. Lets just say its a late Triple down the line in the bottom of the 8th .. 15 to 14 so therefore .. "A Clutch Post "

Uhhh...no. Arlo's post is more like a blast to right field in Yankee Stadium that just falls two inches from leaving the ball park. Everyone talks about it for days but that just makes the score 10-3. :-D

The Pop Loyd agrument was clever. I need to go research the Negro leagues now. That swishing sound you hear is me going through all my Bill James' books and Rob Neyer articles. :-B

I need to confess here a bit. I had an unfair advantage over DK. He has a job, a family and a life. I, on the other hand, am single, unemployed for 10 months and spend most of my free time reading the Bible and baseball books!! }:-)

Although, I did meet a nice girl last month. She doesn't mind dating a jobless guy! How lucky am I? :-D

I must confess here too. As soon as I agreed to this debate, I knew I probably wouldn't be able to finish it. I wasn't able to do much research, I was so occupied over here. Things just got too crazy over here, and about two days after LCBOY's last post, things finally blew up. I might be able to make one post a day for a while.
