Good stats, good citations (although Barrow might be just a tiny bit biased... ). Looking forward to DK's answer!
Will you guys be taking questions from the audience after those six rounds?
Thanks, Arlo.
How do you think Barrow might be baised? He managed Babe Ruth in Boston and was his GM through the Babe's entire time with the Yankees. Just curious. I would think that Barrow might be biases against Wagner and lean towards Ruth? I think everyone has biases. This is why I posted many quotes from players, managers, GMs, sports writers, authors, and historians. You are correct, Arlo, everyone has bias but if everyone (with different biases) say the same thing about Honus Wagner, then it is highly likely that what they said is true.
I'm all up for taking questions from the the audience! Maybe we can open up a new thread and call it "The Post-Game Show".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was Barrow who first signed (and 'discovered,' I suppose you could say) Wagner.
Although you're right, of course - with all the opinions you cited, it doesn't really matter whether you consider Barrow biased or not.
But did everyone truly consider Wagner to be the best...? Ok, never mind; I'll try to join Madison in asking annoying questions after the debate. Should be fun!

Hmm.......I guess we vote now unless someone wants to step in.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I don't think anyone's told him yet.
