Free, long-term keeper league needs owners

You can find a lot of leagues that need owners, but I guarantee you that you will not find a more serious league.

The CBFL was one of the best leagues around for more than a decade, but was forced to shut down two years ago due to the local guys moving so far away.

My goal is to get the league started back up, online.

Long term keeper league with auction draft and contracts.

You will get to start your team with 6 majors and 20 minors from your favorite team. So you better join fast so you get the team you want.

We will have the largest roster allowed by Yahoo (someone said it is 40 man roster) with 20-man minor league rosters that will be kept on our league site, not on Yahoo.

We have six owners now.

Rosters are going to be 30 players (23 starters, 7 bench).

We were going to do a live auction draft, but we may end up doing a forum draft or a Yahoo draft. We will all vote on that once we have a full set of owners.

You get to start with all your favorite players from your favorite team, so you get a roster to work with from day one and you don't have to wait for the draft. Many good teams still left.

Sorry, but I forgot to mention that we went from a free Yahoo league to a pay CBS league.

The entry fee is only $8 for the entire season, and that money is used to pay for the CBS Sportsline site, which is so much better than using Yahoo.
