Looking for a baseball spreadsheet like this!

I have used this for the past couple years and was wondering if there was a free or cheap macro spreadsheet out there for baseball to plug projections into and get point value.

It looks like you input your scoring system, not your projections.

Anyway, Diamond Mind Baseball has free projections in a spreadsheet. Just create one excel formula to do the calculation and copy and paste it all the way down the column for the pitcher worksheet and repeat with the hitter worksheet. If you don't have a point system, then it's more complicated.
Don't tase me, bro.

No its a macros spreadsheet. You input your scoring system on the first page and on the bottom you'll see tabs for QB, RB and so on to put your own projections in instead of Football Guys projections (which weren't bad but I made a different spreadsheet for a few different projections). Then it takes all of those together and creates a cheat sheet for you on the second page. I wish these guys had a baseball site and had the same thing.

I tried making one myself and had no idea what I was doing. Anybody with some knowledge in macros that wants to make one, or has anybody made one in the past that would like to email it to me?

Not exactly

Postby lsommerer » Sun Jan 14, 2007 1:39 am

I don't imagine these are exactly what you're looking for, but maybe they will help. At the very least, you can waste some time looking them over.

You can find it here: http://www.sewardweb.com/baseball

These two spreadsheets come from a post I made last year asking if anyone wanted to share their spreadsheets. Only one person seemed inclined to do so. So there are only two here to look at.

If any of the rest of you are interested in sharing the spreadsheet you use to get ready for your draft, email it to me and I'll add it to the list.

wow, either people really know A LOT about Excel and can make those spreadsheets really fast or they spend A LOT of time prepping for their draft.

These really aren't what I'm looking for but they are all nice. That average draft position is helpful as I make something like that every year. I'll bookmark that.

I think I might try to look if I can change that Football Guys excel sheet to work for baseball in a few days. I'm starting to think that there just isn't one out there.

If you do that, I'd love to see it as well.

I have tried to create something similar in the past, but it doesn't factor in my league settings.

I tried poking around with it last night, but realized it's really hard to do. Has anybody done one of these? I would imagine this would be invaluable to almost every fantasy baseball player.
