MlB 2K7 hired the Lead Project Mgr from the MVP series. He siad they have a good build but wanted to make the major changes needed to make it the best baseball game ever.

When will they ever come up with a swinging, pitching system that uses a similar arm/swing motion with a controller? Obviously Wii is the only one that can pull this off right now but you'd figure someone would have figured out how to make players go through the motion with a semi realistic motion with a controller. Hitting a button and lining up a cross hair to hit the ball is so old.

Also, it would be cool if someone developed a first person view baseball instead of catcher's view.

There haven't been cross hairs for hitting in years. Last year the NCAA MVP game, as well as MLB 2K7 had a swinging system where you swing the analog stick instead of just hitting a button. I didn't play The Show, so I don't know if that one did.

We just need those graphics, combined with MVP 05 game play, and you have your perfect baseball game.

I hope the MVP '07 mod is good. I'm specifically buying a wired 360 controller to play it, even though my graphics card isn't great.

Agreed. 06 was sensational. http://www.mvpmods.com has some early roster updates etc, but no full mod that I know of like the 06 mod. No doubt it's in the works though.
