A close game through 7, as the Sox take a 3-2 lead. In the top of the eighth, the Sox get one with Ramirez driving in Garciaparra. Dusty brings in the immortal Mark Guthrie to face the lefties. He gets Ortiz, but isn't so lucky with Nixon.
I figured someone would have to score some runs pretty soon. Nice series so far!

You've missed a great series.

Since #2 in my book is Atlanta and #3 is the Mets, I've taken a pass on a lot of recent World Series.
That list is actually quite close to mine. The Yankees, though, fill 1-100. Then it's the Mets, Marlins and Braves, I think. I still can't get over what the Marlins did in 97 (firesale). However, I'll be very happy if they win it all. Ah, allegiances.
Anyway, what are the pitching matchups for Games 6 and 7? And change in rotation for either teams? You never know, Grady might want to start Nomar pitching in game six on a "hunch."

Yes, good point. When game 6 gets run, make sure to start Mirabelli over Varitek. Mirabelli catches Wakefield.
