Life after Barry

Postby LCBOY » Fri Oct 17, 2003 8:53 pm

OK fellow Giant's fans. I want there your opinion. What should the Giants do to prepare for life after Barry. I think the Giants should go after Vlad and build the team around him. He can be the cornerstone for the next 10 years.

I'll second that. Barry won't be around much longer and could retire as soon as now. I know he probably won't, but it is a possibility. Going after Vlad wouldn't be a bad idea at all. A solid superstar that they can build a winner around.

Yep, we do actually agree 8-o . Has the world stopped spinning? Are we the only two people left? Lmao! :-D

As to MVP this year, Bonds continued to hit while Pujols went into a tailspin. I didn't think it could get any closer in my mind, but it did. I'll give an opinion shortly, and it is a possibility that I go with Bonds. It's just so gosh darn close! }:-)

One thing for sure is that I won't be saying that either one of them got robbed. Unless someone else jumps up there and takes it. 8-o Which actually is a possibility. Sheff could wind up getting it with Bonds and Pujols splitting votes. It's a longshot, but it's not out of the question yet.
