Someone mentioned Hideki Irabu in another thread and it reminded me of Steinbrenner calling Irabu "a fat toad". Seems that would qualify to be listed as well. :-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

ah, right, you're from Texas...

on WFAN, the NY metro area's main sports station, Chris "Mad Dog" Russo is one of the main radio guys they have to talk about sports. he wrote a book about all sports, and he said that the baseball player who got the least out of his potential was Darryl Strawberry.

He is but I would trust my grandmother's opinion over his. He does nothing but ride Mike Francessa's coattails and promote his book at every chance.

when he rants on and on he annoys me. that's the main thing about him i don't like.

his book is a good all-sport book, however.

Ok, I understand now. I agree that Strawberry had a lot of wasted potential.

Agreed. If anyone isn't from the area and has DirecTV, check them out on the YES Network (channel 622) from 1-6:30 most weekdays. You can see first hand Bad Dog and Beef Francessa.
