How about that Dodger Team that went in to the stands and choked a guy because he stole a players hat. That was only a couple of years ago.
Chad Kreuter wasen't it? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm pretty sure that you are correct. I remember thinking to myself, "Why would anyone want Krueter's hat?"
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Yeah, it was Krueter, and then about 6 others followed him up. I was actually thinking of that the other day, thinking that it would be a good benchmark for the Nelson/Garcia punishments. So, yeah, that's on the list.
I can't think of any offhand, but you'd have to include Albert Belle on this list, right?
Yes, we have to add Belle's "missing" bat to this list.

Disco demolition night in Comiskey in 79. Turned into a riot didnt it?
10 cent beer night in Cleveland in 74 which ended in a forfeit.
Anything Steve Howe, Dwight gooden, Darryl Strawberry did was disgraceful to game.

Ah yes, how can we forget Steve Howe? I think when all was said and done, didn't he get 7 chances in the MLB? Strawberry and Canseco are still messed up ... Haven't from Gooden lately. But I agree he belongs ..

As to Mantle, didn't they say the same thing about Strawberry? Did anyone else read the cover story in the New York Times Magazine about a year and a half ago?
I don't know. Darryl's decline just took the wind out of me. I don't collect baseball cards but I still have hundreds of his, collected from the official places and cereal boxes and a thousand other places. Man, that guy broke my heart.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend stole my Strawberry shirt when we broke up a few months ago. It was from when he was a Met, he was drawn on with an enormous head, you know the kind. It had all sorts of moth holes in it, but I still wore it proudly.
That guy broke my heart. Yeah, there's a spot on the list for Mantle, Straw, the Doctor, etc.
