Most Disgraceful Moments

Postby Absolutely Adequate » Fri Oct 17, 2003 12:53 pm

Now, I'm sure that espn.com has already done something similar, but I was wondering what the most disgraceful moments in baseball history are? Where does game 3 rank with things like Clemens throwing a bat at Piazza or Vince Coleman throwing firecrackers into the stands or Ty Cobb going into the stands to beat a cripple or Ty Cobbs whole career etc. Can we get a list going?

Ooh, good one. And Robbie Alomar spitting, of course. And Roseanne Barr. I'd like to make a list.

I would love to see a Carl Lewis/Roseanne Barr anthem contest. :-D

Can't believe no one mentioned Clemens and Piazza.

Cobb is right up there with me, as is "The spitter".

How about that Dodger Team that went in to the stands and choked a guy because he stole a players hat. That was only a couple of years ago. :-)
Friar Wire, Dodgers FAIL, Mets FAIL.
