I’m starting up a new keeper league and would like to extend the invite to anyone who may be interested. I’ve seen a lot of cool things in a number of leagues over the last couple years and am trying to combine some of them in a reasonable fashion that will create an exciting and active league that will flourish for many years to come. Without going into excessive detail, here are some of the highlights:
- 15 teams, MLB Universe (hosted by Yahoo ‘cause it’s free)
- 5x5 traditional roto scoring
- 26 man rosters with 20 active slots (12 hitting/8 pitching), 6 bench and 2 DL slots
- 3 major league keepers (no restrictions on length) plus 3 restricted free agents each year
- 3 man minor league roster
- Initial league draft will be a hybrid of slow auction and slow draft on a message board
- Subsequent league drafts will be slow auction for restricted free agents and slow draft on league message board
- 1st year will be free, possibility to make is a $$ league after year 1
If you’re interested shoot me an email at
mailto:amesbm@hotmail.com and let me know a little bit about you and why you’re interested. If you fit the profile of what we’re looking for (knowledgeable, active, and truly love the game as well as our silly little hobby/obsession) I will send you a copy of the draft constitution and we can discuss your inclusion. A number of slots have been filled but I’m looking to fill the rest in the next week and kick off the initial phase of the draft on Monday, January 15. Hope to hear from you.
Bryan
