I have to agree with the placement of Harden, Felix, and Prior on the "expert" list. All of them have insane talent. Prior has proven that he just plain cannot be trusted. But with Harden and Felix, they are just too good to pass up around ~30.
i may be crazy but the D-train is a top 30 pithcer on every sight that is predicting top 40 pitchers. perhaps he was overlooked? the guy gets 1 dwi and is banished off the list. wheres the love for dontrelle? he's better than half that list. perhaps it was an oversight. if not i'm in trouble i just traded for him.

Look 3 threads above your post: "I put willis at 22 on the list and bumped everyone else down one, so penny is now off the top 40."
i like the list, but i think mussina, lowe, and zito are too high. also randy johnson should be #40 if he's lucky. matt cain should be ahead of lowe and mussina, i know mussina had a good year , but he's going to get lit up this year. cain will be a stud. also felix hernandez is going to be a top 20 pitcher. i know this list is more based on last years stats, but if you go by potential for thiss year it would be a little different. if you have time, try and make up a list of the top 40 at the end of 2007. guys like johnson and mussina will get bumped by guys like hamels, cain, sowers, lowry ect...
