But I honestly, firmly, 100% believe Pedro's legacy will be on the line tomorrow night for Game 7.
The biggest stage of his life, WS ticket on the line for the Sox, which Pedro will it be?
If it's the "old" Pedro on the mound (any pitch for a strike at any given time, hitters hardly stand a chance) then I think he will SOMEWHAT salvage his legacy after that Game 3 debacle.
HOWEVER, if it's anything less (Hit hard, ESPECIALLY throwing at batters and inducing ANOTHER brawl) his legacy will take a hit that he might not be able to recover from.
Like I said, that may be exaggerated but it's what I believe. If Pedro can keep his cool and throw his stuff, he should be fine.
If the Yankee Bleacher Bums want to throw batteries, he can't let that affect him because if it does he's finished.
I agree. I don't think Saturday tarnished him forever--remember Roger has recovered from the bat incident--but another one tomorrow and that could be it.
I agree that Pedro needs to just go out there and pitch. With this probably being Clemens last game, it wouldn't be good for Pedro's career if he doesn't act professionally. I'd even say that how he acts is more important than how good or bad he pitches.
Should be a great game though.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

How can it be Rogers last game? He still has the battles with Willis and Beckett yet.

Definitely trying to be postive for the Yankees, I'll give you that.

I think my Texas Rangers should get it. We don't fight with anyone. Our starting pitchers are a lot of batters best friends.
Lmao!

Again your casting a net over the whole organization for the acts of a few. The Sox have fought--cough, cough, pardon the pun--hard for this series. No one gave them a chance tonight and they pulled it out. This team doesn't give up, kind of like the Marlins.
