10 appearances, 5 starts to keep eligibility. I have removed eligibility based on such changes for 2007. Consideration for 2008 and beyond is important in an evaluation.

SP:
Jeremy Bonderman (SP-DET)
Justin Verlander (SP-DET)
Daisuke Matsuzaka (SP-BOS)
Scott Kazmir (SP-TB)
Tom Gorzelanny (SP-PIT)
Jeremy Sowers (SP-CLE)
Robinson Tejeda (SP/RP-TEX)
Joe Saunders (SP-LAA)
Carlos Villanueva (SP-MIL)

RP: (closers aren't all that important-- I can pick up guys throughout the season and I don't need any evaluation of this position)
Pat Neshek (RP-MIN)
Tom Gordon (RP-PHI)

C:
Michael Barrett (C-CHC)
Ronny Paulino (C-PIT)
Chris Iannetta (C-COL)

1B:
Ryan Howard (1B-PHI)
Chris Duncan (1B/OF-STL)
Howie Kendrick (1B/2B-LAA)

2B:
Howie Kendrick (2B/1B-LAA)
Wilson Betemit (2B/3B/SS-LAD)
Mark DeRosa (2B/3B/OF-CHC)

SS:
Jimmy Rollins (SS-PHI)
Bill Hall (SS/3B/OF-MIL)
Wilson Betemit (SS/3B/2B-LAD)

3B:
Mark Teahen (3B/OF-KC)
Edwin Encarnación (3B-CIN)
Bill Hall (3B/SS/OF-MIL)
Kevin Kouzmanoff (3B-SD)
Wilson Betemit (3B/2B/SS-LAD)
Chone Figgins (3B/OF-LAA)
Alberto Callaspo (3B/MI-ARI)
Mark DeRosa (3B/2B/OF-CHC)

OF:
Chris Duncan (OF/1B-STL)
David DeJesús (OF-KC)
Luis González (OF-LAD)
Bill Hall (OF/SS/3B-MIL) -- gets OF this year after 10 games
Mark Teahen (OF/3B-KC) -- gets OF this year after 10 games
Shin-Soo Choo (OF-CLE)
Chone Figgins (OF/3B-LAA)
Mark DeRosa (OF/3B/2B-CHC)
Adam Jones (OF-SEA)

MINOR LEAGUERS (NOT IN YAHOO'S 2006 DB):
Franklin Morales (SP-COL)
Adam Miller (SP-CLE)
Colby Rasmus (OF-STL)
John Danks (SP-CWS)
Chuck Lofgren (SP-CLE)
Donald Veal (SP-CHC)
Jacob McGee (SP-TB)
Kevin Slowey (SP-MIN)
Sean Rodriguez (SS-LAA)
Joey Votto (1B-CIN)

I have one pick to make in the Amateur Draft and it's expected that Luke Hochevar will be the guy at my spot. I'll likely drop Neshek to have room for him. I'm considering trading him/the pick for a major leaguer or a highly-touted position prospect.

I'm also looking at drafting Wes Helms and dropping someone, unless I can make a 2:1 deal to open up a spot.

Why Wes Helms? I think you need a power bat in your OF and your set bro. Yes, get Hochevar.

I think your biggest problem is Sp's. I like how you have a lot of young pitching, but a proven veteran beyond Bonderman would be a nice addition.

I'm trying to acquire Zito. I'm also trying to move Verlander for Jered Weaver and Rich Hill.

Agreed, you def. need some OF help. I would package a 3B with a lesser SP for one possibly.

I'm examining the idea of moving Kazmir for Beltran in a deal that would include Barrett, too.

Well, getting Helms would allow me to move Encarnacion for something. I think Helms will have a very nice year as a starter in Philly.
