is there anything more annoying than the auto video playback on the ESPN websites? I swear that company is more concerned about commercializing sports than giving us what we want. I can't even look up stats without getting bombarded with videos, pop-ups and other annyoing things.

I don't use ESPN if I can help it. Can get most of the stats and other articles from Yahoo or CBS without all the insider nonsense or other stuff they try to feed you.

I do it out of habit since I've used ESPN from beginning of time. I usually go to THBT, Baseball Reference, Baseball Cubed as well as Yahoo but sometimes I check ESPN for college stuff. I just get so annoyed by their commercialism. It's sickening.

I agree that is totally annoying. I have pretty much stopped looking @ ESPN.com simply b/c I am too impatient to wait while the video stuff chugs away.
I also rarely look at ESPN, i listen to local sports radio so much there is no need to watch SC either so, really only time i do anything with ESPN is watching football, baseball, or basketball on there

agreed, bill simmons writes a pretty good column. i'll listen to espn radio from time to time if i don't have a radio near by. but page two definitely saves espn.com.
