The Padres are my sleeper team for next year, right now. 2 years ago, I said look out for the Angels and even I didn't think they would go all the way, but I did think they would do well. In all fairness though, I did think the Phillies would do well last year, and they proved me wrong. Can't win them all, but right now, I think the Padres will surprise a lot of people next year.

I puposefully steered clear of all Phillies... Except Randy. I had him in a keeper league. But they have an awful manager and Bowa even cost Randy a couple of wins this season.... woulda coulda shoulda .....

I didn't mean necessarily for fantasy purposes, more for real life. As to fantasy, I had Thome/Rolen/Wolf, just off the top of my head.

I figured that they would all be over priced. They didn't have a bad season. Just a disapointing one. The Padres. That was a bad season. That was an awful April and May .. ouch
