I agree to not go through with the trade but I'd say if your looking to deal one of your young pitchers I would deal Garza ahead of Pelfrey. I think Pelfrey will be the better major leaguer, just a hunch!

I deffinatly don't do the deal. I am a huge fan of great young arms like Pelfrey etc. Infact I have probably the most stacked farm system for pitchers in my league including the likes of Phil Hughes, Homer Bailey, Yovani Gallardo and others. I don't think Ianette warrents you trading Pelfrey. Ianette will not be the next Mauer/McCann keep what you have.

If you want Ianette bad enough then keep your eyes open this year for breakout pitchers and then maybe trade one of your arms for Ianette but, not just Ianette alone I'd deffinatly want something added. I picked up Gallardo off of free agency in my league way back in May when I started to notice that he was dominating low A hitters. I then looked at my sources where BA said he was a sleeper and I decided I'd take the chance. I don't hesitate it for a moment.

I never trade a pitcher for a catcher unless that catcher is Mauer/McCann.
