Agreed. what would be a good percentage?
Not sure, I'd have to sit down and look at the numbers. Probably something like:
1st fine=1% of salary
2nd=3%
3rd=5%
4th=10%
5th=20%
Just a rough guess at it for now. It's got to be enough to get the player's attention. How many major leaguer's miss $5,000? Minimum salary is what, $500,000 a year? Everyone makes a mistake or two, so start small. For those who just don't care and rack up fines, a fine in the 10-20% range would get their attention.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

hey and don't forget to add in there....
All fines go the the "Little League Assoc." Not just the American's but the World. New parks, equipment, that kinda stuff. That way third world countries can quit using cardboard boxes as gloves and Then MLB can "grow" baseball overall.

They can also use that money to properly train coches... Very Good Point. Mandatory coaching clinics. I am not a fan of the LLWS. I think it is way too much pressure on kids that are supposed to be enjoying a game. and the only reason that pressure is there is for the enjoyment of adults..It wrong.
Doesn't ripken have his own league now....? How are they doing ?

coaching clinics seems like a good idea...how about getting someone to calm down the parents as well?

More like 2.5 million. It would get the player's attention though.
Yes, definitely give the money to a charity for children.

So under my rough draft, If Arod was fined 5 times in a year, he would pay a total of $9,750,000.
