Looking for one team in a mixed Atlanta league.

Postby Atlanta Alan » Sun Dec 31, 2006 3:49 pm

A very active and competitive Atlanta league regarding trading and free agents is looking for one new team. This league has been around for about five years and has had little turnover, but we are looking to fill one spot.

5x5 mixed league with 14 teams. Standard roto rules, with FAAB FA system, run on CBS. $100 plus approx. $10 for the website are all the fees needed. No other fees will be applied as there are no costs for transactions. Money goes to the top 4 finishers.

Live draft in the Atlanta area (most likely near 400 and 285 area) in a great conference room. The date is TBD, around the third week in March.

Only respond if you are a serious player.

Thanks!

Alan-

I am possibly interested. I live in Warner Robins, Ga and have been in leagues for the past 12 years. I play in a league in Dallas so I will be out of Ga on the March 31.

Please send me info.

Atlanta League

Hi John...

I am not sure you got my reply as I am getting a site error message, so I will post it here, or you can send me your email address.

It is a 5x5 mixed 14 team league. We start the standard positions plus a reserve hitter and 9 pitchers weekly. There is also a 5 player reserve bench which can consist of any player from either the minors or majors and they are drafted after the regular auction with a $5 salary. The league is 5 years old now and very competitive.

We have had little turnover the past 5 years, but this season, we are replacing three teams for various reason (two already have taken spots) and we are looking for one more. The teams will start with the $260 auction amount. Returning teams are allowed only 5 keepers a year. The past two seasons have been crazy as the winner was decided on the last day of the season two years in a row.

Let me know if you have any more questions and I will be glad to answer them?
