The Devil Rays in One Sentence: This system is very strong.
Not much else to say, other than this organization has a lot of potential talent if they can find a way to use it right.
Pretty nice looking farm system. I hope the DRO uses them right and makes sure me keep the young studs we have. A lot of INF talent and some decent young stud arms, i think 2008 could be a nice year for the Rays.
Price, a 6-6 lefty from Vanderbilt, was nearly untouchable for Team USA this year, going 5-1, 0.20 with 61 strikeouts and seven walks in 44 innings to win BA's Summer Player of the Year award for 2006.
Price arguably has been one of the best college pitchers over the last 10 years or so. He would be a great fit besides Kazmir, Niemann, Davis, and Hellickson in 09.
A very good farm system but I wish we had a true power hitter in our farm system to replace gomes at dh
He will not hit more than 25 HR and we need a power bat in our lineup
But I really like our farm system especially our SPs and of course our IFs but of course imo we need RP and OF
I agree that 2008-2009 could be a very nice year for us
It will be a miracle if we can just hit .500 in the 2-3 years and I will be happy
and then the discussion that we're in to good of a division will come up.

I don't see any need in outfielders at all. Crawford, Baldelli, Young, and Upton are already in the majors and still young enough to be here another 15 years. This doesn't count Dukes, Guzman, Ruggiano, or Pedroza who are still in our system and either already are in the OF, or may be forced to the OF.

The main thing we need is arms and experience.
Exactly.
We also have Macdonald in the minors who can play some OF.
