Wow. I am glad I did not waste my money watching that last night. It was a very boring match.

I really want to see the Griffin fight. Anyone got a link?

I thought it was a pretty good fight, but the ending was kind of lame. Way to early of a stopage.

That was most the competitive fight Liddel has had since taking the belt from the Couture. I though the fight was very good. I can't wait for the rematch with Rampage.

Also, don't really agree about the premature stoppage. When it first happened it looked early especially in contrast to the non-stoppage in the first. But on the replay it looked like the right call and Ortiz supported the ref in the post-fight press conference.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Yeah, I thought it was going to be stopped in the first too, until I saw how much time was left on the video.
Don't know why that fighter backed off (no spoilers) there, the commentators said he was saving his energy, but for what when you can win right there?

Yeah I thought that he could have ended it in the first as well and showed way too much respect. The loser fights the most boring fights ever. I would much rather pay to watch a GSP/Hughes rematch or a Hughes/Penn fight.

I don't really think that it was stopped early. He just curled up and stopped defending himself. In the first at least he was pushing back with his legs but at the end he just turtled.

The next UFC looks like a couple of mismatches with Silva vs. Lutter and GSP vs. Serra.

As much as I like Serra I agree that that one will be a total mismatch. Although the Silva fight is intriguing. If Lutter gets it to the ground it could be interesting. Although Silva is no slouch on the ground despite what Rogan says. ;-)

Anyway, it doesn't matter now if they are mismatches because the real story of the night is Mirko! :-L

And what, Mookie? No talk about Jason MacDonald? :-D

Dude is definitely impressive. Can't wait to see him against some elite competition.

MacDonald isn't fighting, Patrick Cote is on the card and I don't want to mention him. Wasn't seeing MacDonald turn that loudmouth Leben's face purple satisfying? :-° What an ending.
