I never have. Never will. Is it really profitable? I guess email is free so whatever, but they do have to buy the lists sometimes.

No, but i think older people who don't know what they are doing on the internet do. You hear about those people who actually send money to the people who say they are an exiled prince and will give them 35 million
A buddy of mine is a psychiatrist and while we were talking about spam and telemarketing one day, he mentioned that his patients are inclined to have challenges w/ telemarketers and spam.
Nope. I highly dislike spammers. I've been known to buy from advertisers on web sites, or do business with someone due to an ad, but I do just the opposite with spammers.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I had an uncle who was on one of those internet dating services and was talking it up with a woman overseas (can't remember what country). "She" says that "she" really wants to see him, but doesn't have enough money to come to America. Of course, "she" wants him to send "her" the money. He would've never seen that money, or that "woman" again.
A few months ago I had a similar situation. Let's just say I was "keeping tabs" on a buddy of mine whose email I may or may not know the password to.
Anyway, my buddy begins exchanging emails with this "girl" from Russia. Everything's innocent enough until she starts telling him how much she likes him and how they should be together. My buddy hasn't been the same since the girl he was supposed to marry dumped him 2 years ago so he's quite desperate for love. I'll never know if he intended on going through with it or not because I'll never tell him I knew about the whole thing but he was almost ready to send "her" money and have "her" fly here for a weekend.
I knew right away this thing was no good but I don't think he started realizing what an idiot he was being until he started asking for more pictures and to talk on the phone and "she" kept asking for more money. Finally he stopped sending "her" messages and wouldn't you know it, "she" wasn't heard from again.
Long story short, if something sounds too good to be true, it is.
(And no, this story is not about me. I am happily involved with the same girl for close to 10 months now.)
I don't buy from Spammers but I click banners. Especially those Banners that say NEWEGG on them at the cafe. Since I am a huge supporter of the cafe and of newegg I click on the newegg banner every time I see it pop up
