You wanna clean up the Image of baseball...
Contract the Red Sox ...
what a bunch of absolutetly "Classless" individuals.... I dispise the Yankees soley because of their extreme buying power and what there "status" means to the game. But now. I fricking hate the "Red Sox" .... what a joke of a team.... The deserve nothing ... Zip.
What a joke all of you guys are. Pedro, I admit, should not have thrown at Garcia, but he had every right to throw Zimmer down. I don't care what age someone is, if they throw a punch at you, you defend yourself. Zimmer should be suspended indefinitly from baseball. Coaches should NEVER hit a player. NEVER! As for the red sox before classless, WTF?!! Because one pitcher, one batter, and a GROUNDSKEEPER do something stupid, that makes Nomar, Ortiz, Millar, Muellar, Nixon, Damon, Walker, Varitek, and all of the other sox classless? Get a life, and stop generalizing people. Ignorant people say stuff like that. Pedro is a competitor, and he wants to win. He'll do whatever it takes to win. He was trying to not only get in the hitter's head, but also into Clemen's head. Was it a smart thing to do? NO! Did Manny over-react? HELL YA! But that doesn't mean all Red Sox are classless.
Blaming the Red Sox players or Red Sox fans for the stupid attack by the groundskeeper is so unbelievable ignorant and stupid, it makes me laugh. One person doesn't represent a team or a city. Get your heads out of your asses and realize that there are just some REALLY stupid people that do some pretty stupid stuff.
