Just a last word on this: the popups on my computer were related to an older bug (a flaw in Microsoft VM). I ran three trojan removers that couldn't find a thing, but "Ad-aware" (freeware

) finally took care of it. Pretty cool program btw, also found a huge pile of cookies that were rendered as unfit for consumption.
Interestingly, the trojan came on my system although ActiveX is limited (non-secure or non-signed ActiveX scripting disabled) and although I run a firewall (probably doesn't help much if it seems you're downloading the trojan on purpose).
In short, simply take this thread as a reminder to patch your system and keep in updated on a regular basis. Shitney, if you have a microsoft OS, simply got to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/default.asp it will take care of the rest. (Your system will be scanned for necessary updated, but I guess it's the only way to get it patched.)
Cwebb, if you happen to find that tool again I'd be interested!
