in a 12 team 5x5 mixed league, generally how many HR's and SB's do you need to compete? also, batting average..

just trying to determine if drafting a truly balanced lineup will reap benifits, or perhaps simply lean towards power......

These are results from a 5x5 10-team. So I guess these will be a little high. Just wanted to give you something to start from.

A good rule of thumb is apparently to try and finish 3rd in each category. That should give you 100 pts and should be enough to finish 1st.

Having said that then 275-280 HR and 150 SBs should be enough. It does depend on whether you have game limits, i.e. each position being limited to 162 games. This will dampen the output numbers somewhat.
