Most people know it because PJ covered it.
I generally give people credt since it was a pretty decent hit when it came out.
I tried so hard to like DMB in the late 90's and all I got was serious disappointment for my efforts. I guess I'll never understand their appeal. On the other hand, Cornell and Vedder on the same record? Amazing.

Yeah, I think anyone over the age of 20 probably remembers this single very well when it first came out, it was a huge hit (and still gets radio play). And Pearl has probably only played the song about a dozen times in concert, truth be told.

bwhahwhahwhhwhahwahhawhahh...Well Tool has a better drummer, guitarist, bass player, and singer.
DMB is horrible....They cater to 12 year old girls with whiney lame music that sucks
Tim Reynolds is talented but still he's not the god that Dave Matthews fans think he is.

Is this a Tool thread or a Temple of the Dog thread?
I would take Carter Beauford over Danny Carey any day of the week, btw.
at one time i was a pretty big dmb fan but i still had to vote for temple of the dog. the dmb studio albums are decent, but i hardly ever listened to them. they are mostly a live band so they dont necessarily put out great albums. i am pretty much over my dmb phase now.
