On July 10, 1964 rookie Jesus Alou was 6 for 6 against THE CUBS(why is it that lots of things happen against the cubs !+)

). In and of itself, that is a tremendous feat but what made this feat even more interesting?

he was the 1st Giant in 40 years to get 6 hits in a game
