Thats what they said after the spending spree in 2000 with the A-Rod, Manny and Mussina signings. Now the whole thing has exploded again this off-season.
I think the pitching market is forever changed and will continue to explode because of the demand for any pitching. If Meche got 11 million this off-season, anything is possible. The hitters market on the other hand may cool but I dont think by much.
