With the way the FA Market is going i wouldn't be surprised for him to get 200 million, i would probably have to be the Red Sox since the Yanks would still ahve Arod under contract. I am pretty sure the Marlins will be looking to move him before his contract is up

If you go by today's FA market and the value of the players getting paid, MCAB is worth about $300-$400 million in all honesty. God knows what the market will be like in 09.

i dont think the market will stay this way for much longer. the extra cash that clubs are gotten has largely been wasted on this years crop, and they will be stuck paying the contracts for 4 yrs on avg. i dont anticipate any event which will increase the revenues of clubs in any significant amount. the excess money will run out, probably after the next offseason.

The market has "big" years every 4 or 5 years. This is by far the biggest. But I still think the market is forever changed. No more do players make 3 Mil a year for 5 years. The money being tossed around now is CRAZY.

$200MM isnt out of the realm of possibility, but i dont think it will happen. i think the market will cool a little. he may have to settle for just $150MM.
