by Arlo » Mon Oct 06, 2003 7:00 pm Talk about a tight race! The battle between steevie and Indy Dragons, the two teams who dominated the standings this season, wound up coming down to the very last game, and culminated in a very narrow victory for steevie. Congratulations!
Hats off to Indy as well - these two guys were truly in a league of their own. Not only were steevie and Indy the only players to finish with more than 1000 points, but they also won seven out of 27 weeks between them. For good measure, Indy added the highest single-week score (an astonishing 337 points, tying joshparrish). I think everyone who made predictions this year soon found out how tough this game truly is, making those accomplishments very impressive indeed...
dinocam Dominates Trivia Challenge
There was simply no stumping one person in this year's trivia challenge - with 84 correct answers, dinocam finished with nearly twice as many points as the closest competitor, and deservedly wins the championship.
Congrats, dinocam! I think we all learned quite a bit about our favorite sport. I certainly did - some of those questions had me completely baffled.
The trivia board will of course remain open during the offseason, and we'll continue to crown monthly champs. Thanks again to everyone who joined us for both games this year!
And next April, both Pick3 and the Trivia Challenge kick off brand new seasons...
