My First Sig I have ever done

Yes, it is a stock photo, and I used color balance to adjust it. Is there anyway to make the sig's text just pop out? Thanks to everybody so far that has helped me.

right click on the text layer, go to blending options, and get a drop shadow and an outer glow.

def. better. for your next sigs, go to this guys site (http://www.sdsportsfanatic.com/cuts.html) and use his cuts. when you first start out, the last thing you should worry about is trying to cut the picture out.
