Like I needed another reason to not draft J.D. Drew??????? It would kind of funny if his greed got the better of him, Boston backs out of the deal and he ends up signing a 1 year 8 mil deal after passing on 3 yr 33 mil.

If I'm Boston I definitly back out on the deal

Come on!! They are getting a very very injury prone, slacker, unmotivated underachiever, who is currently INJURED!!

I think I would rather have two guys like Matthews that put up similar numbers and maybe lower BA. but play everyday. I know I'll bid him up. We have three or four Red Sox fans in our league. Crisp went for $30.00 last year, Now that owner has been trying to move him with no luck.

He played 145 two of the last three.

From Roto:

Word on the street is that J.D. Drew chose a very specialized Doctor in order to get his "Second Opinion" on his shoulder. Most believe this Doctor will be a little more optimistic.

I don't understand the point of this thread. It adds nothing to what we already know. Drew is injury prone. However, even after the surgery, he belted 20 HR, near .900 OPS playing in a pitcher's park with limited support.

Why is eveyrone obsessed with bashing Drew?
