Not sure if I have the numbers exact but seems to me he hasn't played in more than 125 games a season in five years.I know in my 12 team AL only auction league somebody will pay at least $30.00 for him. I think I would rather have two guys like Matthews that put up similar numbers and maybe lower BA. but play everyday. I know I'll bid him up. We have three or four Red Sox fans in our league. Crisp went for $30.00 last year, Now that owner has been trying to move him with no luck.

J.D. Drew is scheduled to receive a second opinion Monday on a shoulder issue the Red Sox have concerns about, according to a major league source familiar with Drew's condition.

It's still likely that Drew is on his way to Boston, but it may be a revised deal. The Red Sox aren't going to want to pay $70 million for five years if they feel he's likely to need additional surgery on his right shoulder at some point. Drew underwent what was reported to be minor surgery on the shoulder in Sept. 2005. He put in a relatively full season last season, but the shoulder did cause him to miss a couple of games in May and might have bothered him at other times.
