I'll be more than glad to take Johan in the first round. I'll take him as early as 2nd overall. He's a proven stud who has finshed top 3 for the last 3 years. No reason not to take him.

To many "!" in the blurbs about the players. Not bad, but Hanley at 22 was a stretch.

Do you not think Santana is a top 5 pick? Blanket statements like this or

I rank him lower because hitters are more valuable than pitchers!

make me discount the opinion. What does this mean anyway - hitters are more valuable then pitchers? In 5x5 there are 5 catagories for pitchers and 5 for hitters. For a majority of hitters I can find a pitcher worth more.[/quote]

Not a bad top 25, but there's no way I'm going after Reyes in the first round, let alone at a #4 pick. Santana is worthy of being taken in lieu of where this fella suggest Reyes should be drafted. Hafner is quite low here while Bay and Holliday are a tad underrated here.

Hanley as a late 2nd round pick over Holliday? Gee, I'm rooting for Julio Lugo to smack 15 HR's and steal 60 bases and then Lugo would be a top 20 draft pick in 2008 automatically. Sheesh.

Didn't Brady Anderson hit 50 HRs one year? I bet he went #1 the next year.

exactly... HOWEVER, a starting pitcher doesnt contribute to the category "saves," which makes hitters like pujols, beltran, soriano, etc.. far more valuable then ANY starting pitcher. ;-D
