Am I missing important Aramis Ramirez info?

Postby jfg » Fri Dec 15, 2006 7:04 pm

I just looked at the CBS Sportsline mock and he went in the 6th round...(http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/fantasy/story/9872664/rss)...

Did I miss something or maybe that league only tracks stats in April and May? Or is it valid because of the depth at 3rd?

I wouldn't take anything you see there too seriously.

The CBS staff is average in knowledge at best. Reviewing some of their mocks are good for a few belly laughs.

Good. I have him slotted as one of my keepers so it's good to hear nothings wrong.

He will start slow for you, it would be a good idea to have another 3B for April/May.

Actually, I wouldn't draft him at his end of season value. I would try to buy low.

While that mock is low, I still think he's overrated in H2H leagues. His terrible starts can put you in holes that are just way too deep to dig out of, plus you can't trade him since his value is at its lowest.

A-Ram is one of the top mid-season targets for any team in contention. He can carry you through the playoffs, but you may not get there if you have him on your team on day one.
