NFL Network blows

Postby ironman » Fri Dec 15, 2006 2:59 pm

"Hey, you'd know what would be cool. Let's create a station all about the NFL!"

"Yeah that does sound cool, I'm down."

"But we'll only have it on satellite providers."

"Oh, well that kind of blows. Oh well, I don't care that much about it, I won't feel left out of not seeing 24 hour NFL coverage."

"But starting at Thanksgiving we'll have live NFL games each Thursday night."

"What!? That sucks, I'm not switching to one of the crappy dish companies just to watch my favorite team. You guys are asses! Can't you just be on cable?"

"Nope, oh and by the way for all you Rutgers fans out there, we own the rights to the Texas Bowl, so guess what, unless you are one of the chosen few that have dish, you won't get to see your beloved Scarlet Knights on tv! Suckers!"

"Fascists!"

Seriously, I'm all for the death of the NFL Network at this point. Bunch of tools! :-t

Then Comcast is one of the few. From what I've seen, most cable providers don't offer it.

I actually think Collinsworth is a good color man, but Gumbel is HORRIBLE. By far the worst play-by-play man I've ever heard at any level.

Apparently he has never done play by play before...He's way too soft

Said in the most monotone voice ever:

"wow that was a super play. I really liked it"

Comcast has the NFL network and Times-Warner and Cablevision are adding it next year.

NFL network is so retarded. Why should Time Warner and others be forced to incllude it on a certain package. The NFL is making tons of money and they jsut want more. Last night was the lowest watched NFL game in history. That tells ya something.

It's like the football equivalent of the Olympics Triplecast.
