is this the mets year??? with pedro and beltran signing,,,most mets fans hope so....but i think it will be said come late july again in this very forum.....

Obviously the ultimate goal is to win a World Series and the Mets fell short. But the playoffs are a tough gig even for the favored team. There is always next year but this has been an awesome year and I actually visit this thread with a smile on my face for the first time.

1. One of the best teams in baseball
2. Best team in the NL all season long
3. Total NL East domination
4. The Mets kicked the Braves asses so hard off the perch

Good times I will be remembering for a long time. :-D
