I have always been a Vidro fan, I just don't get the deal for the M's. They have a solid improving 2B and they are likely gonna need to DH Sexson at one point or another so where do they play him?
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
Maybe this time Bowden told Bavasi that he had the Cardinals on the phone offering Carpenter and Pujols for Vidro and that he was going to take the deal unless Bavasi said yes to this trade in three, two, one -- DEAL!
O.K. Bill, you decided to take the deal. Now let's see how good a deal it was. If you had said no deal, you would have taken the last case left, which was the Phillies. O.K. Shauna, open the case and we'll see what the Phillies were looking to unload. Pat Burrell! O.K., so Burrell could have been yours. Now let's look in your case. Jose Vidro. I'm so sorry Bill. Oh, and it looks like your new case is already broken.
Alright, let's meet our next contestant. This next man is a king among giants. When asked if he would consider signing Julio Franco this season to fill the void at first, he said, "Maybe in a few years. I have to admit, the kid has potential." Give a warm welcome to Brian Sabean!
I don't see any logic at all behind this. Broussard was conceivably the DH before this, and is Vidro better? The only way I understand this is if Beltre is going bye-bye, Lopez is moving to 3B, and they have a hole at 2B. I hate Bavasi.

If he keeps this up he'll be a more hated man than Matt Millen.
Damn. I'm kinda pissed that the Braves couldn't have gotten in here and traded Giles for one of these fellows. Given the great working relationship the two teams must have, I don't see why it couldn't have gotten done.

and Giles is younger, has a shorter contract, has been healthier, and has more upside....
+/- on monthes from today that Bavasi will be fired?
let's try 8
I take over.

I'll take the over as well considering most GMs last through a year or so even after they make terrible moves.
