Hi guys... I just got a Firewire card for my Dell Notebook, and can start uploading video from my Canon MiniDV camcorder.

My question: If I want to put up videos to share with friends and family members scattered around the country, what's the best service out there?

A Google search gave me something called Putfile, which sounds good, but have never heard of it before. Anyone have an recommendations? I'm looking for ease of use, particularly for those who I invite to share the videos (some of my in-laws can barely use a PC).

I don't have any experiences hosting videos besides Youtube, Google, Revver, and Metacafe, but here are a few hosting services geared for private sharing:

Dropshots
Multiply
Zippy Videos
Digz It

I think Imagestation has video hosting features too if I recall correctly.

If I can interrupt the porn digression for a moment...

Youtube is kind of limited in how much you can upload. There are file size and video length restrictions that I don't like.

I'm actually trying Grouper right now, appears to be unlimited and free. Any other opinions would be welcomed.

Okay... u can go back to your porntube discussion.
