nothing eye catching on that list..
giles will probably gain the most interest, and he's only 28. so yeah he just needs a change of scenery.

I think Alexis Gomez would be a decent gamble for the Pirates to take, knowing their need for a LH power bat in RF or 1b. Probably would be pretty cheap....I'd rather them sign a guy like that than Trot Nixon.

I wouldn't be mad if KC wanted to give Joel Pineiro a shot if he came fairly cheap. He did have a couple solid years in '02 and '03 and is still under 30......

Orioles: Aaron Rakers, RHP


I went to HS with this guy. It sucks cause last year was set to be his first full year in the bigs and he blew out his arm. :-/

wasn't Jerome Williams thought to be contending for a rotation spot next year for the A's? What's going to happen to him now? Is he just too fat to compete?

Not far from there. Half of Clinton County is related to the Rakers. :-D
