Your Favorite Themes...

Postby bigh0rt » Mon Dec 11, 2006 8:40 pm

Ok, so I got an iPod last Christmas and have yet to use it, so I'm trying to fill it up now that I went out and got an adapter so it'll actually work in my car... I'm interested in snagging some of the cooler theme songs, be they from movies, or ones they play in trailers frequently or to hype up sporting events. Most folks don't know the names to most of them, but I figure maybe a few of you here might. Some I've snagged so far...

Requiem for a Dream
Saw
Braveheart
Gladiator
Terminator
Pirates of the Carribean
Mortal Kombat
Duel of the Fates (Star Wars Episode I)

So, help me out, eh? B-)

I'm most interested in getting the tunes that are the old faithfuls when hyping of a big game on ESPN and such, but sweet movie themes work too. ;-D

Just get the Rocky IV soundtrack.

The actual Rocky theme I believe is called "Gonna Fly Now".

The Soprano's theme song, Woke Up This Morning, is a good one. I believe A3 is the artist.

The theme from Glory is one of my favorite ever, both the slower theme they play throughout and the faster theme at the final battle scene. Makes you want to march into battle.

Batman Begins and Road to Perdition had pretty cool themes, and I think they were the same guy.

I always dug the theme at the end of Return of the Jedi, when they were approaching the second death star, and Ackbar yells "It's a trap!"

It's not really a theme song exactly but I thought that Oasis song from Snatch at the end when Brad Pitt is fighting that dude was a sweet choice for that scene. I believe the song is called "******' in the Bushes".

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
