Mine's buried in the bottom of a box somewhere. It was just plain gold, so there wasn't much value in trying to sell it. If it had diamonds or anything else in it though, I certainly would have tried to sell it.
When I got divorced, I sold my wedding ring to a jeweler since I bought it directly from a dealer.
If you bought it from any major chain, typically they have a trade in policy of some sort, so you could trade it in and get something else you'd rather have.
Best of luck and I hope it all goes as "Smooth"ly as possible
Yeah, yeah, cruddy joke I know.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Even if it's 'just gold' you might get $100 or so out of it, that = 5 cases of beer, or 2 cases of beer and Baseball Prospectus AND Baseball Forecaster or 5 fantasy mags and 3 cases of beer. Or like 10 30 packs of schwaggy beer.
Admittedly, only Forecaster is getting ready to ship but I'd get rid of the sucker. Shoot, use it as a down payment on a Telecaster and learn how to play guitar or something like that.
They say old wedding rings are bad mojo. Personally, I'd sell it for whatever you can get, and buy something fun for yourself you wouldn't normally buy.
