i'd say Butler has the upside of a Travis Hafner type of player. Sure that's the absolute best he can be, but even to have that potential is great. Sure his defense is below average, but Manny is no great shakes in the field either, but he makes due. Hermida on the other hand was a top prospect coming into last year but his stock really took a hit with his subpar performance only some of which can be attributed to injuries. I see a solid bounceback for Hermida, something like Coco Crisp's last year in Cleveland, but in this case I would gamble and take Butler.
