My Super Ex-Girlfriend 6/10

S'alright. Some funny ideas in this, like what if a superhero was certifiably nuts, and what's it like to sleep with a sex-deprived Wonder Woman. Overall, though, it's very cookie-cutter. Not bad. Not good.

I did like Eddie Izzard as the super villain, though. ;-D

I had no idea that Mr. Izzard was in this movie! I even watched the trailer on TW whilst checking out movies to rent and he was never shown. Now I really want to see this movie!

When Mitch Hedberg passed away, Eddie became my favorite comedian. His stand up is hilarious... ;-D

6/10 is what I gave it as well. I liked it but I wish the movie had taken itself more seriously. Sometimes it was really good and then others it was just standard formula comedy stuff. I have a strange fascination with Uma Thurman so that helped. :-B

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I liked it.

Franco's a pretty good actor (still think of him as the guy from Freaks n Geeks)

Freaks and Geeks was such a great show, but I'm not sure I like Franco enough to sit through "Annapolis."

Yup, underrated show...a bunch of funny people in it.

I didn't watch Annapolis for Franco. I live not too far away from Annapolis so thought it might be interesting....about the Naval Academy...boxing...

Speaking of boxing, I watched some of the Rocky marathon yesterday. Good stuff (as always).

Yeah, I saw this last week. Its a good story but not quite what I expected either. It was ok for me... 6.5/10

Borat - 7.5/10. Really funny and little raunchy at some parts but i liked it.

Anchorman - 9/10. O what a great movie. It never gets old and it just has a great cast.

Die Hard 4 -- 8.5/10

The original is still the best, and the 2nd is still the worst. I'd put this one a notch above the 3rd, but still a couple notches below the 1st.

I was a little hesitant to go see it since it had been "sissified" with a PG-13 rating, but honestly, I didn't even really notice once things got going, and that doesn't take long. McClane is still McClane.

Of course, if you've seen any Die Hard movie, you know you have to suspend some disbelief for some scenes. If you're a fan of the Die Hard series, this doesn't disappoint.

I only have one gripe with the movie, and I can sum it up in one word....(very mild spoiler below, highlight to read.)

OnStar.

So all communications satellites are down and civilization is crumbling before our very eyes, but the OnStar lady is there within seconds?
Sometimes it takes a crazy person to see the truth. If so, I'm a freaking lunatic.
