Eh, I wouldn't kill it entirely on the ending. Good luck when you have a kid. Apparently Anne Hathaway was cast as the female lead but dropped out when they wouldn't budge on showing shots of an actual birth.

It's not a kids movie.

well i didn't expect them to show anything similar to that. Yeah it's not a kid movie and all i am but i am sure no one was excited to see that.

This chick actually is from Reno. She went to a High School across town. Sorry. Had to mention it. It's not often that Reno gets positive news. Reno 911 is the first thing most people think about. !+)

Also, I'm definitely going to go see Knocked Up here soon. After reading all the reviews here and checking out Rotten Tomatoes I can't wait. ;D

I just finished up watching Memento.

I was completely into the movie the whole time, it was one of the most unique movies I've seen. When I watched it I felt like I was almost in the place of the main character, Lenny, because I was so confused and lost about what was going on a lot of the time. I thought the way it was put together, in reverse order, was a really cool effect. The plot was very complicated and I'm still trying to piece together what exactly I just saw. Even if I don't fully understand what the hell I just watched, this movie is still a 9.5 out of 10. Awesome film ;D

Well it was gross but it didn't ruin the movie for me.

"Miracle of birth" right :b

We actually had to watch a video of an entire birth in high school. Now that was frightening.

Has anyone else seen Idiocracy? Because it was such an anti-coporation movie Fox decided not to market it and it barely showed in any theatres.

I thought the movie was brilliant. Yes, there's a lot of "potty humor," but that was the brilliance of it. It basically showed a future society which reflects the one we live in now. Everyone brainwashed by big businesses, less praising of the intelligent, etc. I thought it was a light-hearted movie but it actually had a pretty interesting message.

8 out of 10. ;D

I missed the credit, so if that's what you guys are talking about then I'm lost. But if you guys are talking about that birth scene at the end...I didn't think it was that gross...I had to watch a full birth in middle school(secondary school actually, I was in Canada, actually, it's Ecole Secondaire, I was in Quebec then) and that was pretty gross...the fact that some of the classmates think it's borderline porn and enjoyed it is even a more frightening thought.

Either way, I enjoyed this movie. Not sure about the rating but pretty sure it was R as it had 2 pretty graphic(and sound) sex scene in it. But overall, I had a few good lighthearted laugh.

7.5/10

I thoroughly enjoyed Idiocracy; of course, I went in hoping for another Office Space but didn't quite get that. The movie was a little on the dumb side, but the social commentary was fantastic. I don't think Fox supported it because Bill O'Reilly would immediately call for a boycott of his own network if they did.

I've said we're coming dangerously close to "Ow, My Balls" a few times here.

Also, PWF... I know ratings are different in Canada, but here, if you drop a couple F bombs, simulate sex or show a boob for more than 3 seconds, it's an automatic R rating (and lately they've been pushing NC-17). Welcome to Prudish State of America.

Edit: It's cool Amazinz, gotta love the 'back' button the webbrowsers.

Saw Pan's Labyrinth over the weekend. I don't get the hype. 7.5/10

It was entertaining enough, but I wasn't attached to any of the characters in the movie. It felt like a children's story insomuch as the plot didn't seem to have a lot of depth to it, but it was very adult in theme. The dichotomy really threw me.

Special effects were cool, though.
