Saw this at the drive-in without knowing anything about it beforehand, which was really weird experience. I was expecting a normal horror movie after a quick look at the poster and title, but the first scene did away with that expectation very quickly. My girlfriend and I both really enjoyed it, which is rare.

Saw this one at the drive-in too. I was extremely disappointed. It was just stupid. And I say this as somebody that was a huge fan of Borat/Ali G/Bruno when the original show aired over a decade ago. Maybe it's just because I'm not in high school anymore. However, I still find all the old stuff funny. Meh.

Same here. I thought it was awful. I think even a 4/10 is pretty generous...

It is generous, but it's saving grace is that I didn't turn it off. It might be unfair to rank movies that you turn off before they are finished, but usually movies that I rank 1-3 out of 10 are movies that I stopped watching at some point before the finish.
Looper - 7/10 JGL does a great job playing Bruce Willis. Like any time travel movie, you have to just accept certain things and that's no problem here. My only complaint about the movie was the completely unnecessary superpower revealed near the end. It added nothing to the movie except disbelief that shouldn't have to be suspended.
The Avengers - 8/10. Highly enjoyable superhero film. It actually left me wanting to play the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game as The Avengers.
The Wild Bunch - 9.5/10. Appropriate to the theme of the film, one of the last great Westerns up until about Unforgiven, and an influential film for action cinematography and editing. The shootouts, especially the famous climactic shootout, are violent, gritty, otherwise beautiful works of art, but is also a tale about betrayal and redemption amid changing times. IMO, Sam Peckinpah's best film, and William Holden's best individual performance as well.
