In Time: 7/10 Kind of an interesting premise, not your run-of-the-mill action flick. I'm becoming more of a fan of Amanda Seyfried the more I see of her. Time for another hot chick draft?
Contraband: 5/10 Run-of-the-mill action flick. Even Kate Beckinsale couldn't make this more than a rental you watch when there's nothing else on.
Gone: 7/10 Another Amanda Seyfried flick, worth watching.
Man on a Ledge: 5/10 Cool name, trailer looked good, but a pretty boring, predictable movie.
Safe House: 5/10 Worth watching I suppose, but nothing memorable.
Mission Impossible III: 4/10 Wow, worst one they've made yet. They're clearly out of ideas.
This movie sucked, can't believe I actually sat through the whole thing. I was actually looking forward to seeing what Gina Carano could do in an action role, but holy cow this thing was a disaster.
close to a bomb...formulaic, predictable..even Clint was ordinary channeling his crusty old man mantle like he did in Gran Torino and Million Dollar Baby...i think i even heard a dirty harry growl and he sings (revisiting his Honky Tonk Blues character ?) !! corny, they used so many schlocky character actors it looked like a hollywood rest home...no saving graces here and the baseball scenes were average.. amy adams wasted and justin timberlake was very weak
That's My Boy- 6/10: That's high praise for a movie that I thought wouldn't even deserve a 1. There were a ton of laugh out loud moments, if Sandler could just lose that stupid voice, this might have been a classic.
Moonrise Kingdom 8/10: I'd rate this right above Darjeeling Limited in the Wes Anderson catalog and really his movies can only be rated next to each other- they are all very similar but at the same time no other director makes movies like Wes Anderson... Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums- 10/10--- Life Aquatic 9/10--- Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox 8/10---- Darjeeling Limited 7/10----Bottle Rocket 6/10
Dark Shadows- 2/10: Austin Powers without jokes and in a setting that's not particularly funny either.
Cabin in the Woods 7/10: Kind of similar to Drag Me To Hell. Horror for people who aren't horror fans.
The Lorax 6/10: Good enough, not great like Pixar stuff, but it got terrible reviews which it didn't deserve.
The Dictator 4/10: I finished it, so there's that I guess... It's basically the same jokes as Borat but without the unscripted moments that made Borat so great.
